The first album cover is by Christina Aguilera, and is called 'Bionic'. Firstly we can see that the focus point of the album is Christina Aguilera herself within the middle, which ensures that the audience recognises and sees who the actual artist is. Even greater focus is placed onto her face due to the fact that the album name has been placed onto the side to give the face more priority, which is also the same with Christina Aguilera's actual name. The other half of Christina Aguilera's face also links back to the actual title of the album 'Bionic', as we can see she has a half-bionic face.

However, the bionic part of her face is not purely made up of wires and circuitry, but is actually made up of instruments, and music-related items. For example, the most prominent part of the bionic part of her face is the eye, which is made of a Vinyl disk. Another part that may relate to the album is her throat, which is also bionic, but also has a speaker shown on it. This speaker represents both music, and is also where the vocal chords within humans is located, thus making it an appropriate place to place it. Lastly, the cover also has a warning message in the bottom right, which says 'Parental Advisory: Explicit Content', which shows that the music is aimed toward older audiences as there is profanity.

The second album cover is by Lady Gaga, which is made for her album, 'Art Pop'. The first thing that we notice yet again is that the singer is the center point of the entire album cover, except for the fact that this time it is not just Lady Gaga's face, but also her entire body being on show. We can see that Lady Gaga is completely nude, which is covered up by her hands and the gaint blue ball. Nudity shows that Lady Gaga is not afraid to express herself, and is happy and confident with her own body image. It may also be a form of expressionism, as she may be trying to show her audience that our bodies are works of art, as nudity is very common in pre-contemporary paintings, and also relates back t the actual name of the album 'Art Pop'.

Both her name 'Lady Gaga', and the title of the album 'Art Pop' are both written in a basic and simple font, which has been broken up slightly however. This may have been done to create the subliminal message for her audience to break past their simple and basic lives that is more accepted, and break those boundaries to express themselves, which would link back to Lady Gaga's morals and values. The main background of the album art cover is also made up of shards of different pieces of pre-contemporary art, which also show partial nudity at least within the images, although they cannot be completely seen. Lastly, like the previous album cover, Lady Gaga's album cover has a warning message in the bottom left-hand corner which says 'Parental Advisory: Explicit Content', which shows that the music is aimed toward older audiences.
